Rules and Descriptions

No cross entry of horses from Ranch Pleasure to Western Pleasure

Novice is defined as horse or rider who has less than 2 years of showing experience. A rider with an extended break (several years) in riding that is now back also qualifies for novice. New horse/rider combos within their first year of showing also qualify for novice. You can be novice in western and non-novice in English or the other way around. Cross entry allowed.

Medal class consists of an over fence portion as well as a flat portion of the class. Judging will be mainly based on equitation and handiness of the horse. Once you place 1st or 2nd in the class you are qualified for the medal final which will be held at the September show!  No cross entry between 18” and 2’ Medal classes.
